Before it becomes waste.
The vision is to collect unwanted fabric, clothing, sewing supplies and other usable textiles before they are lost to waste — then redistribute or transform them through sewing, repair, swaps, community projects and creative reuse.
Not everything needs to be new.
Sometimes it needs a new context.

High Earth’s growing Textile Library keeps reclaimed fabrics, clothing and sewing materials in circulation for reuse, making, sharing and future community use.

High Earth is intended to become a place where people can learn practical skills, share what they know, make things, repair what they already own and connect with other people.
Events and workshops are still taking shape. This first stage is about building relationships, gathering resources and creating the foundations for a genuinely useful community project.

Value moves
toward care.
Animal Care is a core part of High Earth. The intention is for relevant donations, proceeds and future project income to contribute toward food, practical care and support for animals in need.
Value created through reuse, making and community participation can move beyond materials — becoming another form of care. The shape of this work will grow responsibly as High Earth develops; no formal animal-support partnerships or donation programs are currently being claimed.

High Earth is a Newcastle-based project exploring more regenerative ways of living, making, consuming and connecting. It begins with textiles and practical skills, while holding a wider vision for community participation, environmental restoration and Animal Care.
Founded by Nikki, High Earth has grown from hands-on experience with sewing, reuse and community exchange. It is independent, evolving and being built carefully from the ground up.
